The perfect person for you

In the study, Sandra L. Murray and their colleagues, gave the participants a list of characteristics . Based on these, they were asked to rate their partner , to "their ideal person" and to themselves.

Through this activity, the specialists performed three calculations. First they compared the rating that participants they made of themselves with those of their Ideal pair , with which they managed to know how similar they "were". This was called "True ideal".

Second, they compared the score of the partner with the "ideal" love of each participant. They called it "Ideal perception" and allowed the experts to know how close the husband of that "perfect entity".

Finally, they confronted the two previous issues. They concluded that if the assessment of "Ideal perception" of a new married it was much higher than "True ideal", this would mean that idealized to your couples ; but if they were both similar, it was that they did not.

As a result of timely follow-up, the researchers found that the couples what idealized his "life partners" were more happy Y satisfied with their marriages three years later.

In short, what you have to do instead of having an unrealistic representation of your "impeccable" partner, is to see your husband as someone who is not perfect It's what "ideal " for you.
