5 reasons to consume less salt

According to Food Orientation Center , eating less amount of salt reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease by 25% and therefore, reduce the chances of you having arterial hypertension and consequently the development of a myocardial infarction .

1.- Excessive consumption of salt could represent a very high risk of hypertension.

2.- The amount of salt that our body requires is from 1 to 2 grams per day .

3.- Purchase reduced sodium foods ; you will avoid fluid retention.

4.- Prepare dishes where the fine herbs, such as parsley, rosemary or pepper , be the main ingredient. Its flavor and aroma will make you not feel the desire to use the salt shaker.

5.- It has been bought that when consuming more salt, there is more hunger. So if your goal is to lose weight, stay away from salt, so that you reach your goals.
