Eliminate fat with blueberries

Consuming this fruit, could help fight the obesity , as it apparently slows the development of fat cells (adipocytes ), revealed a study of University of Texas Women in Denton (United States)

The researchers, led by Shiwani Moghe , analyzed the role of polyphenols (They are a group of chemical substances found in plants, whose main function is to combat Cancer ), of the cranberries and it was shown that they are fighting the adipogenesis , which is the development of fat cells, and induce lipolysis, that is, the breakdown of grease .

The study was performed on tissues of mice in culture. The experiments revealed that the lipid content in the control group was significantly higher than in the tissues that received three doses of polyphenols of cranberries . The highest dose of polyphenols achieved a 73% decrease in lipids and the lowest a reduction of 27%.

About, Moghe , one of the researchers from the University of Women of Texas, said: "We still need to test this dose in patients to verify that there are no harmful effects and that they are effective."

According to Moghe, establishing the best dose for humans will be important, assuring that it is practically a fact that cranberries are beneficial to reduce the formation of adipose tissue in the body.

These new results increase the list of benefits associated with cranberries , who have already shown their ability to combat heart disease and the metabolic syndrome .
