Recent studies suggest that children between 12 and 17 years of age, of medium-high socioeconomic status who have mobile devices , open access to social networks and email, are the most vulnerable to this type of bullying .

The cyberbullying increases in schools, as these are a frequent point of access to Internet for minors. In addition to this, it was reported that seven out of ten teachers are victims of cyberbullying , so they prefer to avoid interacting with their students through the social networks .

Unfortunately, only five percent of parents know the activities their children do online and the sites they visit, so it is recommended to apply security tools that help protect them.

It is not about denying access to Internet to children, but to educate them to create a culture of responsible use of technological tools.
