Belief in God motivates cancer patients

Cancer patients who consider their life to be in "hands of God "They are more likely than others to spend money on treatments that extend your life , according to a study published by the medical journal Cancer.

The teacher Michelle Martin, A professor at the University of Alabama, she based her studies on information on more than 4,000 patients with lung cancer and colon cancer.

The study found that African-American patients they were even more likely to spend their resources for extend your life expectancy than the members of any other ethnic group.

Martín believes that the results may be due to the fact that patients can feel motivated through God to continue with his treatment, but pointed out that it is necessary to do much more in-depth research in this regard.
