Smart bra detects breast cancer

The timely detection of breast cancer helps to successfully overcome the disease. Thus, First Warning Systems launches an intelligent bra that will serve as a complement to traditional studies such as self-exploration and mammography.

According to the company, the Bra Screening It works as a continuous monitoring, since it has a sensor that measures the temperature changes that are associated with the growth of blood vessels, which feed the tumors, as detailed in the following video:

The pattern recognition sensor processes information to identify changes that could indicate the development of a tumor earlier than a mammogram or self-examination.

The creators of the smart bra ensure that it has 92.1% accuracy. It was even tested in three clinical studies, where the cases of 650 women were analyzed.

The company plans to market the product this year in Europe, while in the United States it is planned to launch in 2014, when it is approved by the FDA.

First Warning Systems details that the sports bra is an early detection system for breast cancer and does not work as a diagnosis of diseases. For this reason, it is important that any warning comes with a specialist. And you, would you be willing to acquire this type of technology to improve your quality of life?
