The good news is that the Yoga classes they have never been more widely available. You will find them in health clubs and gyms. The hard part is finding the right kind. Some classes are aimed at beginners.

If you consider a studio or a club, here are some tips to find qualified teachers that meet your needs:

Define your goals Do you havechronic back pain or other physical limitations? A class of Iyengar , with emphasis on the form and proper use of supports, would be ideal. Are you looking to improve concentration and reduce stress? Consider a class that incorporates meditation. In search of a challenging training? Try a class of Ashtanga .

Ask about the instructor's background. There is no national certification program for yoga, however, some disciplines have their own rigorous teacher certification programs.

Do you want an instructor who has been practicing and teaching for a long time?

Take a look at the place. Look for spacious and well-ventilated places. Many accessories, mats, belts, foam bricks, blankets and cushions are a good sign, too. Ideally, the yoga rooms are quiet, but that may not be the case in a gym where students have to deal with music at high volume
