Women prefer anal and oral sex

Sometimes, some young people who feel the need to preserve their virginity until marriage, fall into the contradiction of performing other types of sexual practices that do not compromise the vaginal penetration , they do incorporate other modalities such as anal sex and the oral .

In this sense, the psychologist, sex therapist Renata Ortega, in an interview for puntovital.cl, clarifies that "for psychology, virginity is a value (and not sexual) concept of the Catholic Church", which explains that many adolescents have leaving aside the religious conviction to arrive pure to the altar, for other reasons.

One of these reasons is that they prefer to wait until "the right person" comes to their lives, in order to feel that "the first time" is something special and worth remembering. In addition, they want to take care of sexually transmitted infections.

According to the therapist, one of the biggest risks that a person can fall into when deciding which way to go with respect to their sexual initiation is to confuse the abstinence with virginity.

While the abstinence means to hold back from the sexual activity , it is common for young people to have different degrees. They are variations of intimate encounters (depriving oneself of all vaginal penetration) like caresses, mutual masturbation, autoerotism, oral or anal sex , among other.

On the other hand, the mistaken belief about hymen conservation is linked to the loss of virginity, which even in certain cultures as an infallible sample of virginity.

In this regard, the psychologist mentions that "even a woman having an active sexual practice and depending on the characteristics of her hymen, can keep it", and not for that reason retains that virginal aura that still today drive certain institutions, such as the church itself.

However, despite the early onset of adolescent sexuality, as well as the pressure still exerted by parents or church, young people today live a "neo virginity", because they are themselves who redefine these concepts according to your needs and experiences.
