Who is more prone to this?

Anxiety and depression are sufferings that very few of us know how to identify, sometimes we also refuse to approach professional help for fear of being judged.

This is why British and American researchers collaborate with World Psychiatry magazine to develop mobile tools (Apps) that allow people to vent and identify what is happening.

According to the World Health Organization, more than 300 million people suffer from a mental or emotional disorder and do not know it.

Who is more prone to this?

According to the study, women suffer more than men from this type of problem.

Between the Australian National Institute of Complementary Medicine and the Department of Psychology and Mental Health at the University of Manchester, 22 Apps have been developed that collect data from more than 3500 people, between 18 and 59 years old.

People have been able to identify problems such as anxiety, insomnia and bipolar disorder. Hence the intention to release these Apps, so that more people can self diagnose their problem and request professional help.

Some apps even allow better control of patients who are already medicated, and thus becomes an integral treatment.
