Many times, being handsome opens doors without hitting them and holds unimaginable destinations. This is what happened to Jeremy Meeks, when the California police station published his photo on Facebook and shocked social networks not because of the crime that was imputed to him, but because of his physicality that led him to be recognized as "the sexiest prisoner in the world ”.

 

Attractive people are better paid, are considered smarter and will receive better attention in most facets of life. This favoritism seems to be innate and intercultural. Studies suggest that even young children prefer attractive faces, "Ingrid Olson, professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.

A study published in the journal Nature, explains that seeing an attractive face illuminates a brain network related to reward (like the one that is linked to sex and drugs). It also reveals that physical beauty has a direct influence, because people who are considered attractive are credited with being more reliable, fun and good people.
