What you need to know about vitamins

Vitamins are important for all of us. That is why you can fall into the error of thinking that taking them daily is good or maybe because our mothers gave us vitamins when we were children. On the other hand, some people do not take vitamins at all because of the belief that they do not do anything for the body because they are eliminated. The truth is that vitamins are necessary to preserve our life. They are the daily nutrition that we all require.

Many of us are exhausted at the end of the day, due to overwork and nervous tension, these are the times when vitamins are really useful. The need for vitamins increases as we get older. Our body needs them to keep us healthy and function properly every day. Because some people tend to reject vitamins, they have a high probability of conditions and diseases. The Food and Drug Administration states that the intake of vitamins is very important, this only means that vitamins are mandatory.

Not all vitamins are the same, so always make sure you know which ones are soluble in water. Vitamins A, D, E and K are fat-soluble vitamins. These are stored in adipose tissue and the liver.

When the body needs them, they simply take them. If the body will take more than it needs, they accumulate in our system causing serious health problems.

You can ask your doctor about your daily vitamin intake.

The other type are water soluble vitamins, such as C, B1, B2, B12, folic acid, niacin, biotin, pantothenic acid. These vitamins are expelled from the body when it takes the ones it needs. The first thing you should do is to consult your doctor to see what vitamins you need.
