Whether at home or at work we can be exposed to toxic, dangerous substances related to the development of cancer and damage to organs such as the kidney.

Employees of large industries are at constant risk of chronic diseases, because daily they are in direct contact with toxic chemicals without any protection, warned Regina Dorinda Montero Montoya, Institute of Biomedical Research of the UNAM.

The construction industry, agriculture, graphic industries, cleaning services, food processing, hairdressing, textile-tanning, waste management, health care, chemical industry and automobile mechanics are some of the branches of production where the risks for workers they are increasing because they do not have adequate protection.
