Running is an activity that frees you, helps you lose weight and improves your physical condition and cardiovascular functions, but it is very important to do it correctly.

Whether you have been running for a while or are starting, do not forget to follow these tips:

1. Buy a specific footwear for sport . Replace your shoes regularly. If you use them on average between 3 and 4 times per week, you should change them (buy others) every 4 or 6 months.

2. If you usually train only in band machines, you can be more prone to injuries , because you do not usually move to the left or to the right. Therefore, do it carefully.

3. It always increases speed little by little. Otherwise, you could be injured by exceeding yourself. Realize that a little discomfort is normal as you apply new pressure to your body

4. Treat your pains with ice . The heat is a mistake. Place ice in the pain area for 15 minutes 2 or 3 times a day. If the pain does not go away in a period of 48 to 72 hours, it usually means that you are exceeding

5. Any inconvenience that lasts more than 7 days or recurrent, it must be evaluated by a sports doctor. For the feet and / or legs, consult a podiatrist. For the ankle or knee, consult an orthopedic surgeon
