Since many children often get bored at home if they do not go on vacation, parents and caretakers of children must prevent what play sharply on stairs and roofs or jump over the beds or furniture in the room to avoid falls that cause fractures in hands, arms or legs, or cause head injuries, which are the most frequent injuries, and often serious and fatal.

It is important to explain the danger that entails play with fire , gunpowder, gas or firewood, as well as tools such as hammers, saws, drills and even with home gym equipment. In case of visiting a beach or spa, the National Center for the Prevention of Accidents (CENAPRA) recommends to always maintain guarded children when they are near water and use adequate flotation systems. The organism reminds us that in 2008 alone they died drowning 544 children. Finally, if you are going to travel by road during the holidays, CENAPRA encourages adults not to drink alcohol if they are going to drive a vehicle, as well as using a seatbelt and infant carrier chairs in case of taking children under 5 years old.
