For this study, the specialists took oral samples from 6,000 people, to submit them to tests of DNA and identify types of HPV. They were also asked detailed questions about their use of a lifestyle, alcohol Y drug Y sexual behavior .

In this regard, they identified several behaviors that significantly increased the risk of contracting infection between the mens : the increase in age, a greater sexual activity and the smoking .

Although it was considered that the highest incidence of HPV it was simply because it tends to be more virulent in the mens , the finding that they had triple the rate of infection by several factors, besides the sexual , gives more weight to the recommendation to expand the routine use of vaccine to adolescents and adults at high risk.
