Even several studies have proven this relationship, such as that of University College London , in the United Kingdom, where it is revealed that stress generates the need to eat foods rich in fat or calories, especially when a person is in a diet to lose weight.
Another study published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation reveals that stress increases the need to consume junk foods such as ice cream, hamburgers, among others, due to the increase in the production of the hormone ghrelin.
