To balance yourself, prefer a Shiatsu massage

It is a Japanese technique based on acupuncture or acupressure (but does not use needles). Shiatsu benefits the body and the mind. It helps to relax the muscles and according to the philosophy behind this technique it also helps to open the energy channels that the body has.

By opening these energy channels, called meridians, the energy in the body is balanced and can flow freely. The flow of energy can be obstructed by emotional problems, stress or a chemical imbalance. If the energy can not move freely it causes physical and emotional diseases.

Shiatsu helps to relax muscles, to improve rheumatism, arthritis, digestive problems, migraines, asthma and insomnia.

Shiatsu massage is usually performed on the floor and the patient does not need to undress. However in some spas they give the massage on the normal table, although the support is not the same.
