Tips to take care of what you eat

For more than 65 years, World Health Organization (WHO) Each year it chooses a subject related to a public health area, with the aim of attracting the attention of the population worldwide and launching joint actions in favor of the World Health Day.

 

This year the motto will be the "Food safety"; that is, the importance of ensuring that the food products we consume daily do not affect our health. Did you know…?

Based on information from the WHO , the National Chamber of Milk Industries (CANILEC) gives you five tips for look after what you eat :

  2. To stop always the raw foods of those cooked and those ready to eat.
  3. Kitchen completely food and reheat one hundred percent cooked food.
  4. Takes care the temperature of the food; Do not leave cooked foods at room temperature, try to refrigerate them as soon as possible.
  5. Uses treated water, select fresh foods and wash all those fruits that you eat raw.

According to Manual on the five keys to food safety of the WHO , fresh foods are those ready for consumption or perishable that are conserved in an adequate way.

And is that proper management of food prevents the transfer of microorganisms. Accompany your diet of foods such as meat, fish, eggs, milk and dairy products, it will help you to supply protein high value as a complement to plant foods, which have an amino acid content and are rich in other nutrients.
