The American chamber in Mexico has highlighted the importance of the country investing more money in prevention and education to decrease the obesity of the population. And is that the cost of prevention programs, will reach at least 3 thousand 500 million pesos annually, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

CNN publishes that in Mexico, 30% of the population suffers from obesity , and 70% are overweight, according to OECD data; so they urge programs that advance the combat of the problem.
