In this regard, the specialist in Sports Medicine of the Higher School of Medicine (ESM) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Rogelio Matamoros Montero , points out that this condition, characterized by loss of bone mass and the progressive deterioration of its structure, affects at least five million people over 50 years.

Matamoros Montero indicated that the osteoporosis It is a silent disease that currently ranks fifth in the scale of diseases worldwide:

"The osteoporosis Y osteopenia (preliminary period to osteoporosis ) are complex syndromes that can be caused by several primary or secondary factors. Some of them are the decrease in the concentration of estrogen in the woman menopausal or post menopausal , that trigger a deficiency in calcium deposition at bone level, aging, after 60 years, lack of exposure to sun rays and incapacitating diseases that limit physical activity ".

The IPN researcher points out that the excess in the intake of coffee, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, tea and packaged and packaged foods, has an important impact on the inadequate deposit of calcium in the bone system:
