STRAWBERRY MOUSSE

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA), from Mexico,  strawberry has been present for a long time in Mexican cuisine as an ingredient in snow, water, liquefied and crystallized fruit. The strawberry provides vitamin A that helps to have a healthy skin, and vitamin C that acts on bones, teeth and blood vessels.

Strawberries are one of the most healthy, refreshing and blood purifying foods, with low sugar content, which is why it is recommended for diabetics, liver patients and convalescents.

STRAWBERRY MOUSSE

(8 servings)

 

INGREDIENTS

2 cups sliced ​​strawberries

1 pack of sugar-free strawberry flavor gelatine (with artificial sweetener)

⅔ cup of skim milk powder

1.5 cups of water

6 ice cubes

 

PREPARATION

1) Mix the gelatin and the water leaving to stand for 1 min.

2) Then cook over low heat moving constantly until the gelatine dissolves.

3) Blend gelatin, strawberries and milk until smooth.

4) Gradually add the ice cubes allowing each to dissolve.

5) Pour into glasses and refrigerate for 3 hours.

Take advantage of the strawberry season, in the months of January, February, March, April, May, October, November and December. ENJOY!
