Stay young, healthy and happy

Aging is inevitable. No sum of money can stop it. Perhaps this is the reason why everyone looks for what legends call the eternal fountain of youth.

But, beyond the remedies, surgeries or treatments to improve the appearance and age of our skin, the real youth is in the attitude that each one has before life. It is not something we can take as a medicine, but what we do or practice in our daily lives.

According to a study conducted by the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation , called "Successful Aging", genes make up 30% of the total aging process of a person. The rest depends on how a person uses or abuses their body. In a word, the kind of life it leads.

Take it into account to live more ...

More than half of aging depends on the kind of life we lead. In fact, if we take care of ourselves properly we can live up to 100 years. Organ failure is not an impediment, since advances in medicine have made possible the use of artificial instruments.

Smoking, drinking, lack of exercise and a poorly balanced diet are some of the factors that can accelerate the aging process.

Factors that accelerate aging

Smoking, for example, can cause lung problems. This deprives the organism of good circulation and causes a pale and diseased appearance. The ingredients of the cigar diminish diverse vitamins, like the C, that is indispensable for the renovation of the skin and the regeneration of the cells.

The same goes for alcoholic beverages. Too much alcohol can damage the skin, because it dilates the small blood vessels of the body and the surface of the skin. This leads to increased blood circulation in some areas.

Move and look younger

The lack of exercise is another important factor. Continuous inactivity prevents regeneration and increases toxins. In addition to getting rid of the fat and cholesterol that clog the pores of the skin, activity and exercise keep muscles in shape and promote circulation.

Another important factor in the aging of the skin is feeding. A healthy meal ensures that the skin gets the vitamins and minerals it needs for its growth and regeneration. That is why it is recommended to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, as these have antioxidants that keep aging at bay.
