Stamp-sized laboratory

How to provide medical services cheap to those who need it most and can not afford the cost of going to a health center?

The project in which you work George Whitesides and his team is creating a small laboratory that can diagnose the medical condition of a patient with zero costs. The technology is designed for the third world or developing countries, as well as for people who are in a conflict zone and access to medical services is difficult.

The result of the project is a tiny laboratory the size of a postage stamp that can give hope to millions of people around the world. The conference is sponsored by the TED portal, an initiative dedicated to the promotion of ideas that are meaningful.
