Sports where sprains are frequent

According to Dr. Laura Ots, specialist in Sports Medicine of Valencia (Spain), the medicine bioregulator , which includes active ingredients of natural origin, allows "to improve the recovery from sprains and a return to work or training much earlier, shortening the days of sick leave or sports ”.

The bioregulatory drugs (designed to modulate inflammation and lymphatic drainage) represent a new therapeutic approach to the most common diseases or ailments in medicine. Through microdose , these medicines are composed of active ingredients of plant and mineral origin that favor the natural mechanisms of recovery of the organism without producing side effects . In a recent investigation, Dr. Ots treated a group of patients with sprains by conventional treatment of cold and bandage application, and another group that was administered two bioregulatory treatments. More than half of the patients treated with both medications (56%) did not require sick leave, while 35% of the people who were treated in a conventional manner had to stop working.

Football: the sport with the most sprains

According to Dr. Enrique Gastaldi, doctor of the Hospital 9 de Octubre in Valencia (Spain), football , being the most widespread sport, is the one that more injuries accumulate . The sprain occurs in a fortuitous way due to a bad movement or an accident at the time of stepping on the grass and stretching the ligament above its limit of elasticity, which causes its distension, tear or rupture, according to the violence with which exceed that limit. The specialist also influences the Foot anatomy : "There are people with the foot dig whose tendency is to bend more, so they tend to suffer more sprains."

For Dr. Ots, bioregulatory drugs are a therapeutic weapon of great value in sports traumatology for the safety they provide. "They are not products that test positive for doping controls, Allergic reactions are virtually non-existent and above all, the undesirable side effects associated with a certain type of conventional medication are avoided. " For his part, Dr. Carlos Sánchez Marchori, president of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Society of Sports Traumatology (SETRADE), confirms that bioregulatory treatments provide mechanisms to control inflammation and fight against pain. In his opinion, "all the acute and chronic inflammatory pathologies can be treated with these medications".
