So, how can I know if my child needs extra support?

Children begin to develop their communication skills since they are born. This is a continuous process in which the greatest advances are achieved during the first 5 years of life.

During this period, children develop skills that allow them to participate adequately in various situations of daily life: from expressing some need to learning through language academic content.

On some occasions, both parents and pediatricians and teachers spend valuable time waiting for the child's language to develop naturally.

It is common to hear comments such as: "He is still small, it is normal that he does not speak", "He is very spoiled, so he does not want to talk" or "He will speak when he enters the school".

The sooner a language treatment is initiated, the better the results will be based on the fact that the most fruitful stage of communication skills development is during early childhood.
