Slim your waist with yoga

The size of the waist is an indicator of general health for many people. Most experts agree that a waist smaller is healthier (and attractive in biological terms) that a big one. The reasoning behind this is that the increase in fat around the waist usually leads to health risks such as diabetes, high cholesterol and blood pressure.

In evolutionary and biological terms, a small waist represents youth and vitality. But the intensive practice of abdominals alone will not allow you to reach a waist like the Venus of your dreams. You will have to complete it with specific exercises oriented to the waist of various disciplines.

In particular, you will have to work inner part of the muscles with slow abdominal exercises that work deeply in these muscle groups.

Although usually associated with flexibility, some specific yoga-based training exercises are also directed to the muscles around the waist.
