Sensation of inflammation

Digestive discomforts like sensation of inflammation, slow transit and flatulence or gas may be associated with excessive consumption of food. On the other hand, irritants such as alcohol and caffeine are associated with stomach upsets and increased intestinal gas.

96% of Mexican women suffer from some discomfort, many of them associated with poor eating habits.

Sensation of inflammation

It can happen on days that are consumed more than they should. An inflamed stomach can be produced by an excess of trapped gases, constipation, intolerance to certain foods such as gluten, and sometimes are symptoms of a disease such as irritable bowel syndrome.

It is more common in overweight people, and other factors that cause it are stress, poor eating habits, and the consumption of some vegetables such as cabbage and broccoli or hard-shelled berries such as pumpkin.

Constipation or slow transit

It is considered to suffer from constipation when it is not possible to evacuate (at least 3 times a week on a regular basis), having to force the body to achieve bowel movements and not evacuate all the contents of the intestinal tract.

It is difficult to identify just one as a cause of constipation, but among those that influence and cause are the following:

  1. Low consumption of fruits, vegetables and cereals in the diet
  2. Recent changes in lifestyle or daily routine
  3. Stress and anxiety
  4. Lack of physical activity
  5. Little simple water consumption

Flatulence or gases

Gases are produced by swallowing air or consuming foods that are difficult to digest. It can be painful and unpleasant, but flatulence or gas is absolutely normal.

As carbohydrates and proteins break down inside our body, naturally, it produces gases that must be expelled. However, if you suffer from an excess of them, are very frequent or very "smelly", you can reduce them by adopting a healthy lifestyle and improving your diet.

The consumption of dairy products fermented with probiotics can help to reduce digestive discomforts.
