Reduce stress with Ahimsa

Ahimsa It is a Sanskrit term, whose purpose is to live in nonviolence and respect life. It is translated as a symbol of peace and consciousness towards the beings that are capable of feeling. This is an important doctrine of Hinduism and Buddhism.

Mahatma Gandhi introduced the concept of Ahimsa In the West and the recent popularity of yoga and meditation in Western culture has helped many people know and become familiar with this ideology, which seeks peace and emotional balance. Know some of its benefits!

1. When you hear a violent news, instead of commenting again and again, close your eyes and emit a thought of peace for all the people who are part of that news.

2. Every morning, upon awakening and before going to sleep, meditate a few seconds; close your eyes, feel the beat of your heart and repeat three times: "Peace dwell in the hearts of those in whom there is violence."

3. Offer your yoga or meditation practice so that there is peace throughout the planet.

4. Every time you have an aggressive thought with yourself or towards others, transform it into a thought of peace.

5. Try not to hurt, or thoughts, words or deeds to yourself and the people around you.
