An investigation of the University of Konstanz (Germany) ensures that people who eat in the dark, can lose weight effectively because not seeing food makes them feel sated faster.

In the study they were blindfolded by 50 people and another 40 were allowed to see what they were about to eat. The results reveal that the group that could not see ate less, felt satisfied and the taste of the food was not delicious to their palates.
