Psychological guide for after an earthquake

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) enabled the crisis telephone helpline and psychological assistance to people affected by the 7.1-magnitude earthquake that shook Mexico City on September 19.

To request the service, call the telephone number 41-61-60-41.

Also, the maximum house of studies reported the departure of 20 brigades of psychologists to give support to those affected, both inside and outside University City.

On the other hand, the Faculty of Architecture of the UNAM, in conjunction with the National Center for Disaster Prevention (CENAPRED), trained some 400 architects and engineers to perform valuations on the affected buildings in the CDMX and the Metropolitan Area, as well as in other states of the Mexican Republic.

In addition, through its Twitter account, the University shared the list of supplies required in its collection centers located in the Olympic University Stadium, the University Book House and the School of Higher Studies of Cuautitlán Campo 1 and Campo 4.
