Although the authorities do not confirm an influenza alert in Mexico City, the number of cases increases and the shortage of medicines it becomes clear.

In the case of Mexico City, the Ministry of Health, under the command of Dr. Armando Ahued, has minimized the condition, as it ensures that cases of influenza are below those registered in 2015.

For its part, the head of government confirms two deaths (one due to the AH1N1 virus and the other due to type A influenza) and 180 registered cases, of which 136 are of type AH3N2, 27 of type AH1N1, 10 are not subtyped and 7 of influenza.

At the national level, since the beginning of the season that began in October and to date, there have been 870 cases and 34 deaths in the country, which has led federal health authorities to raise the alert and activate their care protocols. .
