However, they hardly achieve job stability, because if they assign a task, they do it several times and still do not reach the goal because they are so perfectionists.

Diagnosis

Only a specialist doctor (psychiatrist or psychoanalyst) can diagnose what type of personality disorder The person suffers.

Treatment

The personality disorders They are difficult to treat, because the last one who realizes what he suffers is the patient himself. Most of the time, in addition to denying his problem, he sees it as something normal and does not accept the observations of the people around him. If there is not adequate treatment and in time, there may be complications in some patients, such as:

  1. Anxiety
  2. Depression (serious)
  3. Suicide attempts

As it is a mental condition in which the personality can not be controlled, once the diagnosis is confirmed, the patient can be treated through psychotherapy and with the help of some medications. Sometimes people heal or stabilize with age.

Prevention

The personality disorders can not always be prevented by the two components that cause them and that we already mentioned, one is the genetic and the acquired throughout life.

The acquired could be prevented through education in the family; However, nowadays, family discussions and aggressions, divorces, alcoholism and child abuse increasingly increase personality disorders

It is important that parents and teachers are very aware of the behavior presented by young children, and if they realize that something is happening, channel a specialist to the child as soon as possible, to prevent a personality disorder weather.
