Overcome fear of public speaking!

Do you sweat or shake your hands every time you have to present something to others? Does your voice cut off when you speak to the audience and all you want is to flee from there? Then you are experiencing Public speaking anxiety .

According to the University of Wisconsin , this type of anxiety It represents the fear of being analyzed and evaluated by others. It is accompanied by physical and emotional reactions that prevent a person from developing successfully at the time of giving a speech.

To handle this situation it is important that you identify the thought patterns that cause this behavior, for example: when you see things in extreme (black and white), you generalize (if you went wrong at some point you think it will always be the same).

You also reach fatalistic conclusions, that is, if it went more or less, you think it was all wrong and finally anticipate that everything will go wrong.

Do you want to overcome it? In the video, Renata Roa gives you some tips to calm down and overcome the fear of speaking in public.
