Óscar de la Hoya enters a rehabilitation center

Oscar de la hoya is being held in a rehabilitation center for people with problems of addiction to prohibited substances .

The above was announced by the site TMZ.com, which say that the former boxer, now boxing promoter, 38 years decided to intern in a clinic in California several weeks ago.

The former pugilist expressed in a press release:

"After making a honest evaluation from myself, I recognize that I have several issues that I must attend to. Like everyone, I have my faults, and I do not want to be one of those people who is afraid to address those flaws ". 

"Throughout my career, I have always faced all challenges, and this is no different, I trust that, with the support of my family and friends, I will become a person stronger and healthier ".

Óscar de la Hoya, also expressed his feelings in the lines of his twitter account, among which are read optimism for his rehabilitation.

"Today is the day of change a bad habit . Live today as if you had lived yesterday ... I live. "" Today I am going to cure my pain and so I will be able to cure yours tomorrow ".
