Obesity generates column problems

The obesity causes pain in the spine , because the prominence (excess of fat) in the abdomen causes alterations in the posture. The problem is accentuated when the person with over weight has weakness of the trunk muscles or carries out loading efforts, which causes a wear in the back of this area called acetary arthrosis .

The alterations of the column they also affect people too thin , because there is no harmonic relationship between the contraction and relaxation of the deep muscles that stabilize the spine with the trunk.

Through a press release, the Federal Health Secretariat (Ssa) notes that the delay in care and inadequate treatment complicate the healing of this disease, which is estimated to affect, at least once in a lifetime, 90% of Mexicans.

Ssa reiterates that the sedentary lifestyle it also causes a decrease in the spine and weakness in the trunk muscle, which detonates in an inadequate posture and permanent pain.
