He adds that despite being born with sight, vision is a process that must be learned and trained, this is achieved only when the visual, visuospatial skills-related to the calculation of space and distance-and viscognitive skills are adequately worked on -refers to what is understood by means of sight-, so it is until these aspects are attended to, that there may be a rebound in the child's learning.

Cognitive therapy not only aims to modify the way the eyes work, it also works with all the senses in a coordinated way and thanks to this a connection is achieved between the eyes, the mind and the body, this is how it is corrected not only visual perception, but also attention, memory and cognitive abilities, which are linked in turn with reasoning and language.

If the results of your child's school are not expected by him and you, before reprimanding him, it is advisable to have a very complete medical check-up, as well as talk to him to know his feelings and if there is something that he has noticed in his hearing or in its performance, to help facilitate the detection of your problem.
