More energy without spending a penny

At what time of the day do you notice that your energy levels are falling? For me, it's around one or two in the afternoon. I realize that I am no longer focused and I am distracted by anything I see on social networks, or you just start yawning out of nowhere.

If you declare yourself addicted to caffeine surely the first thing you do is go prepare a coffee. What if I told you that there is a way to increase your energy without relying on caffeine?

 

More energy without spending a penny

Save your money, do not spend coffee or waste your time in line. A recent UCLA study suggests that all you need to do is walk. So during your lunch hour, give yourself some time to have a ten minute walk. Not only do you burn calories and breathe a little, it will also give you as much energy as a cup of coffee.

 

Change your scenario

When you go walking, your landscape changes, your mind clears completely because you are perceiving another context, and your brain gives you solutions to the problems when you are in a state of relaxation, almost like magic, the answers begin to arrive. If you can not get out of a situation, try to go up and down stairs or in a different hallway walk for 5 to 10 minutes.

 

Change carbohydrates

Maybe you have not noticed, but when you are low on energy your body claims to eat sweet things in addition to the typical coffee. If you eat a bread, cake or candy you will have energy, but it will only last 20 minutes because your body receives immediate glucose, insulin is triggered, but soon it will ask for more and more. So it's better that in all your meals opt for protein, healthy fats like nuts or almonds, and if you fancy something sweet change it for an apple or blackberries.

As you read it, according to the UCLA study jumping when you have low energy levels gives you a more than necessary boost to reactivate, because the cells require oxygen to function; if you do not give them enough, your whole system falls and therefore you do not yield. So when you feel tired in the middle of your day, get up and jump as if you were jumping rope, if you can take one to the job;
