Metabolic syndrome affects 90% of Mexicans

The metabolic syndrome It is manifested by the presence of various ailments or imbalances in the same person, such as cholesterol I triglycerides in the blood, obesity , arterial hypertension and glucose intolerance.

All this represents a huge risk to develop serious cardiovascular diseases and / or type 2 diabetes .

Through this event we try to make known the fundamental concepts and advances of science in these topics, as well as the important work of the Physiotherapist in the treatment of chronic-degenerative non-communicable diseases.
