Meet Gaten Matarazzo's disease of

Gaten Marrazzo, also known for his character Dustin, in the series Stranger Things. He has a bone disease called cleidocranial dysostosis.

It is a condition that is characterized by directly affecting the development of the cranial bones and the clavicle. It is a hereditary disease.

These are some symptoms of cleidocranial dysostosis:

  • Weak joints
  • Likelihood of joints both shoulders ahead
  • Prominent forehead
  • Short forearms
  • Short fingers (hands)

Matarazzo, who will meet on September 8 14 years , he has won respect of the acting community , of the medical and fans of the series, because Dustin was designed thinking about his condition and the boy had no problem making this one of the narrative points.

Identically to the character, Matarazzo grew up with cleidocranial dysplasia (or cleidocranial dysostosis ), disease congenital origin that affects the normal development of bones of membranous origin , like those of the skull and the clavicles.

As you remember with Dustin, for these people the primary teeth do not fall in the expected time and the permanent ones can develop later than normal , added to that an additional series of these grows inwards, which causes that the normal teeth go out crooked.

There is no treatment for cleidocranial dysplasia and the only thing that those who suffer can do is let time do its thing, and remain under medical observation to rule out possible complications.

People with the disease found in Stranger Things a point of identification and understanding and they have filled Matarazzo with samples of gratitude for making public an unknown condition.
