McDonald's launches nutrition workshop

With the objective of promoting nutrition education and avoiding the increase of overweight Y obesity , McDonald's Mexico he created a workshop called Active Nutrition , which seeks to convey to parents, good eating habits for children, as well as to motivate young children to physical activity .

Through a press release, McDonald's Mexico said that this program is activated in more than 100 schools in Mexico City, which will generate it, reaching approximately 35 thousand people between parents and children.

The workshop was developed by the nutritionist Maricarmen Osés , member of the Nutritional Society and consultant of the McDonald's brand. The talks are aimed primarily at parents, where through simple examples they are taught how to lead a healthy life in an easy and accessible way.

In addition to this, more than 28 thousand 705 children have had the opportunity to enjoy the Ronald McDonald show, as well as perform physical activity in inflatables in which a group of animators organizes games.

At the end of the workshop, the McDonald's team delivers basketballs to school officials to encourage students to continue performing exercise , so that it is part of their healthy life habits.
