Lolita Ayala received her INAPAM card

With this Card, Lolita Ayala, like many older adults, will obtain discounts in the payment of the predial, foreign transports, airlines, medical consultation, medicines , laboratories , orthopedic devices , artistic and cultural events, free access to the Public Transport Network in the Federal District (STC Metro, RTP, Trolleybus, Metrobus and Light Rail), travel agencies, hotels in the interior of the country and opticians, among others.

The INAPAM credential, the National Institute for Older Persons (formerly INSEN), complements federal government programs designed to improve Quality of life of the elderly . It offers benefits for all Mexicans and the legal residents (including foreigners) that are over 60 years . 

To obtain the INAPAM Card, you must meet the following requirements:

To have 60 years old or more as of the date of issuance of the Inapam Card. In order to verify the age, it is necessary to present in original and copy any of the following documents :

• IFE
• ISSSTE credential
• Passport
• Military Service Booklet
• Driver's license
• Professional license
• Credential or IMSS card with photograph (showing the date of birth)

In case of not having any of the above mentioned documents, it is necessary to present identification with photograph accompanied by any of the following documents:

• Birth certificate
• Unique Population Registry Code
• Marriage certificate
• Birth certificate of one of your children
• Baptismal certificate
• Proof of residence issued by the authority of the place where the interested party resides
• Testimony of the traditional indigenous authority and the municipal authority or the delegation of the place

If the older adult is a foreigner, they must present:

• FM2, FM3 or naturalization letter

Proof of address. You can submit any of the following vouchers:

• Light bill
• Property ballot
• Water bill
• Telephone bill
• Gas receipt
• Any account statement that contains your address information

Note: In case of not presenting the proof of address, the INAPAM card can be delivered, without considering the details of your address.
