Learn to choose your toothbrush

The care of the teeth is vital not only for the image we project to others, but because their health prevents us from many infections, to achieve this we must brush three times a day and choose the toothbrush properly.

According to the Mexican Association of Oral Health , there are certain characteristics that the toothbrush must gather, so that it cleans each one of your teeth and gums. Take it into account!

1.- The brush handle should be straight . Of adequate size and according to the age and mouth of each person.

2.- The bristles must be plastic , soft, firm and with rounded tips.

3.- The toothbrush must be dry before you do your mouth cleaning.

4.- Brushes with soft bristles are not recommended by dentists, because they retain moisture for a prolonged period.

5.- The toothbrush has to be replaced before the sows expire ; a brush with expired bristles, irritates the gums and does not clean the teeth properly.

 

Clean, basic teeth in health

The Mexican Association of Oral Health recommends that the technique for brushing your teeth consists of holding the brush firmly; place the bristles on the gums at a 45-degree angle, always sliding from the gums to the edge of the teeth and molars. Then move the brush away and put it back on the gum, pressing gently.

1.- Food .- Teeth play a transcendent role in the process of chewing food, which is necessary to start the process of digestion.

2.- Gustatory .- The lingual papillae are those who identify the flavors.

3.- Fonatoria .- Through the articulation and resonance of the sounds emitted by the vocal cords, communication is allowed, through language.

4.- Respiratory .- The mouth allows us to breathe and oxygenate our body. Therefore, you must take care and protect your mouth and teeth, as they are essential pieces for your body to function properly.
