Learn to be more tolerant

The tolerance is the ability to know how to listen and accept others, valuing the different forms of understand and position themselves in life, as long as they do not attempt against Fundamental rights of the person.

Understood as the acceptance of diversity of opinion , social, ethnic, cultural and religious, is a virtue of enormous importance.

It has been said that the tolerance It is easy to applaud, difficult to practice, and very difficult to explain, because it develops the spirit of unity, facilitates the cooperation and interaction . Increase the degree of trust among the members of an organization for the greater openness of each one.

On the other hand, in the debate of ideas, actions, projects and programs, with which the life and activity of a organization , decreases the emotional tone and aggression in the communication , which in such a way make it sterile.

The tolerance must necessarily depart from the fundamental principle that nobody owns the absolute truth , because each one has a singular vision of a certain fact or phenomenon.

There is four principles for tolerance :

1. Not responding to aggressions . When we are insulted, provoked, or unjustly accused, we must respond with the silence ; this force is, naturally, greater.

2. Stay calm in the face of misfortunes . When we meet people who want to bother us, topple or oppress us, we have to face them with calm , avoiding any confrontation .

3. Compassion against envy and hatred . Front of envy and hate of others, we must not respond equally, but offer our friendship and show them our peaceful intention, demonstrating, with education , our superiority.

4. Gratitude against defamation . If someone insults and defames , do not get angry with who provoked it, but remember the Benefits that person gave him in the past and be grateful for that.

Through the exercise of tolerance , identification with ideas is overcome, which is much more harmful than identification with the forms of matter, things, goods, power or fame. So, it's a good medicine for a better mental, individual and social health .
