  1. It's only for young people. It is a lie, since various surveys reveal that up to 95% of adults masturbate, while 46% of older adults do so.
  2. It does not generate real orgasms. It's false. Masturbation raises sexual desire and excitement, so the climax is authentic. It can even be used as a prelude to the couple.
  3. It is bad for health. Some people often say that it causes acne or promotes the growth of body hair, but all this is a lie. On the contrary, a study by the University of Oxford details that it strengthens the immune system and relieves stress.
  4. It is only for them. It is a lie, both men and women can enjoy the benefits of masturbation. In addition, it is a good option for those who want to enjoy safe sex without risk of contracting a sexually transmitted infection or an unplanned pregnancy.
  5. It is exclusive for single people. It is not true, in a relationship it works as a complement to your intimate life. Even, a survey of Kinsey Institute details that 40% of men and 30% of women who have a partner masturbate.

It is necessary that this technique be seen as something healthy and maintain a limit, because if you do compulsively it can be a health problem.

Do not forget to have a proper intimate hygiene and visit a specialist to have good sexual health, which allows you to enjoy intimate pleasures such as masturbation. And you, what do you think of self-pleasure?
