The scientists detail that going to bed late is linked to a sedentary lifestyle, since people feel that they do not have enough time during the day to perform exercise .

"It does not matter what time they go to sleep or how long they sleep, because people who do have barriers that prevent them from exercising," says Kelly Glazer Baron, author of the study presented at the annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies .
