Hyperthermia is fatal for the elderly

Too hot is not good for anyone. But also, if you are an older person, you may be at serious risk.   • To have overweight or, on the contrary, being below your normal weight
  • Drinking drinks alcoholic .

 

How to reduce the risk?

Stay away from the sun and stay in a cool place, as much as possible with air conditioning. Drink liquids, but avoid alcohol and caffeine. Water and fruit and vegetable juices are the best way to hydrate and recover minerals and vitamins. Take a shower, a bath or, at least wet with a sponge and fresh water. Lie down and rest, if possible in a warm place. If it does not return to normal quickly, go to the nearest hospital emergency room or doctor immediately.
