Hazards and effects of stimulant drugs

There is a popular notion that the indiscriminate or illicit use of stimulant drugs started with a tired driver. These drugs are known to stimulate the brain by prompting it to a renewed activity even when he is tired. With its content in amphetamines stimulating pills affect the brain in a way similar to how caffeine does in cola and coffee drinks.

But the drugs for stimulants produce effects that are even more devastating for the personality. They cause false illusions, mental confusion, hallucinations, and unusual behavior. Cocaine (a known stimulant drug), in particular, can produce psychotic behavior very similar to the one experienced by a person with paranoid schizophrenia.

In fact, these drugs are used medicinally to anesthetize membranes and superficial tissues. They have become common among drug addicts because of their stimulating effect .

Addiction to any drug can cause a number of serious conditions such as restlessness, depression, euphoria, anxiety, loss of appetite and nasal ulcers. The latter is typical for those who inhale powdered cocaine.

The great concern about the effects of stimulant drugs has been shown in two recent incidents of two different brands of energy drinks. The first involved the abstinence of one of the brands of large supermarkets where the products are sold. It was alleged based on analyzes conducted on samples, that these products had small amounts of cocaine.

The other incident

In the second incident, the other brand was taken off the shelves of certain stores because it had the name "Cocaine" (although the product came out negative for any substance when it was analyzed). This only shows that the public has gained more awareness of such drugs and is ready to defend against the possibility of their illicit use.

The long-term use of such drugs can cause more severe conditions such as paranoia, hallucinations, psychological dependence, heart attacks, seizures, coma and heart failure. The cocaine overdose , for example, can cause spasms of the heart and stop breathing.

By using stimulant drugs, a person is virtually changing their health and life for the supposed benefit of inducing their brain to be more active.

There are many other, safer ways in which a person can gain personal efficiency and enjoy a long and healthy life. Instead of dangerous habit By resorting to stimulant drugs that can certainly cause addiction, you can learn to build our physical and mental health by leaving excesses and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
