Hatha yoga for modern life

Actually there are several branches of yoga, including bhakti, the devotion yoga , and jnana, the yoga of knowledge. The branch that is most practiced in the United States and that is generally offered in gymnasiums and exercise centers, is the Hatha Yoga , which is physical yoga. But there are also different styles of him, from the intense exercises of energy yoga, to the gentile postures in Svaroopa yoga.

Many of the instructors offer holistic yoga, which consists of stretching and bending the body in various positions called asanas, as well as breathing exercises and deep relaxation. With the practice and learning of asanas, students can obtain flexibility, strength, endurance and a better circulation.
