Food surprises!

How many times a week do you eat pasta, bread or fried foods? By ingesting this type of food, without realizing it you are adding to your diet a protein called gluten , which not only prevents you from losing weight, it also damages your Health .

Food surprises!

According to NYU Langone Medical Center , gluten is a protein found in barley, wheat and rye, however, can be found in other foods that are made with these ingredients, and you do not even imagine.

Most of the times the consumption of gluten generates cramps, abdominal inflammation, flatulence and diarrhea. Even, there are people intolerant to this ingredient, so they have to follow a diet free of gluten , but, how to identify the foods that have this protein?

The American Diabetes Association highlights that it is normal to find gluten in white flour, wheat, wheat germ, wheat bran, pasta, bread, flour tortillas, cookies, cakes, cereals, beer and various sauces.

However, the following foods also contain gluten, but do not believe it: diced soup seasonings, fried or breaded foods, hot dogs, chips, candy, soy sauce, rice and different types of soups, ice cream waffles, among others .

To achieve your goal of losing weight and maintain proper health, check the labels of the products you buy, since some are based on wheat, rye or barley.

Another recommendation is that you focus on fresh organic foods, meat, poultry, seafood, eggs, milk and nuts, thus improving your digestion and activating your metabolism.
