Eva Ekvall dies from breast cancer

The former Miss Venezuela, Eva Ekvall , died in the US city of Houston at age 28, after suffering breast cancer that was diagnosed in 2010, informed sources close to their environment.

According to information published by excelsior.com.mx , the actress and presenter was facing the disease with temperance and courage. It is unknown if Eva Ekvall's body will be repatriated to her country of origin.

The Venezuelan woman documented the process of her disease with the photos of the well-known Venezuelan photographer Roberto Mata; which were part, along with the emails that the model sent to their relatives, of the book Out of Focus.

Characteristics of breast cancer

The breast cancer is a malignant neoplasm of the mammary glands that manifests itself in men and women (for every 100 ladies there is a male case), according to the doctor Carlos Aranda , Director of the Oncological Institute of Morelos .
